" Happiness is found along the way, not at he end of the road" . When I reach the end of my road, I want to have had all the happiness possible in life.. Here's my bucket list..

If I could perfect time travel, bring back the dead, find an equilibrium in the time-space continuum and more than anything get these people to set their egos aside and play together, i would have whipped up the perfect band EVER....

Probably the word I hate the most - "HELPLESS" .
I wish I had the power to change certain things that happened or accept it, get some closure and move on. I hate the fact that I was too young, I lived half a world away, My parents wouldn't have let me, I wouldn't have made a difference anyway.. I hate the fact that scientists have not yet perfected time travel, I don't have psychic powers, I might be turning into a cynic or worse a nihilist, today!
I hate the fact that I was helpless then, and I still am.
Or maybe It's just hapless.. Unfortunate..

This should be added to the list in the previous post! Since this deserves to be in the limelight at present, I'm not editing the previous one to include this, but giving it a stage of it's own!
Waking up at 1.30am to watch Roger "the greatest player ever" Federer , struggle to find an answer to Juan Martin Del Potro a.k.a "the elf" 's blistering forehand. That kid is a revelation.
oh! and BTW, I dunno why I keep refereing to Delpo as "kid" .Afterall he's only like 4 months younger to me. weird.. Hmmmm..

If u don't know the words to Teen spirit this post will NOT be funny to u! I have put up the original lyrics below not for someone to learn them(if u don't know the song already, this post will be lost on u), but for those of us who know the song and love it , to have a point of reference!
These are the original words to Teen Spirit
Load up on guns
Bring your friends
Its fun to lose
And to pretend
Shes overboard
Myself assured
I know I know
A dirty word
Hello (x 16)
With the lights out its less dangerous
Here we are now
Entertain us
I feel stupid and contagious
Here we are now
Entertain us
A mulatto
An albino
A mosquito
My libido
Yea
Im worse at what I do best
And for this gift I feel blessed
Our little group has always been
And always will until the end
Hello (x 16)
Chorus
And I forget
Just what it takes
And yet I guess it makes me smile
I found it hard
Its hard to find
Oh well, whatever, nevermind
Hello (x 16)
chorus
A denial( x 6)
Both these videos poke fun at the fact that no one could understand a single word of what Kurt sand when "teen spirit" first came out!
The first one is called "Smells like NIRVANA" and is by a guy called Weird Al Jankovic. It's a shot for shot parody of the Teen spirit video..It was a video approved by Kurt and i just almost choked from laughing the first time I saw it!
The second one happens to be a version of "Misheard" Smells like teen spirit lyrics. This is the most hilarious version ever.

Of prejudices and preconceived notions.
Scene: A busy intersection, thrown in a broken down truck blocking the road for good measure, somewhere in the Godforsaken place called Coimbatore!
Starring : A pretty girl, 2 self proclaimed "cool dudes"( Wearing clothing u sneaked out of the girls section, pants that are about to fall off, driving a macho bike with faux raybans and china touch phones is not cool! . Knowing how to be a gentleman? Thats C.O.O.L)
Text in parentheses indicates thoughts in pretty girls head!
PG is wearing a tee that has 2 pictures of Kurt Cobain below the words NIRVANA. The back of the tee also reads NIRVANA in big block letters.
CD1: Hey look that girl is wearing NIRVANA!
PG:(wow! fellow NIRVANA fans, how nice!)
CD2: (without missing a beat!) Yeah!Must be her brother's tee!
PG: (Is the tee that big for me?)
CD1: yeah! of course which girl would listen to NIRVANA?
That incident was prejudice a it's best!! by now u have guessed pretty girl was *drum rolls* MOI!
The only thought running through my mind was U want perjudice? I'll show u prejudice! U listen to "teen spirit" and"come as you are" and consider yourselves big NIRVANA fans? Do u have the bootlegs i have? How many NIRVANA songs do u even know?10?20?*scoff*! How many concert setlists can u recite? can u name even one of Kurt's guitars? Do u own "with the lights out"? Do u even know it's inCESTicide and not inSECTicide? oh!what? u thought Love buzz was a NIRVANA song?
Part of me wanted to go prove to them how hardcore a fan was I.But I took the high road and sped away!
This is not a question of a girl listening to NIRVANA! This is indeed a question of unadultered sexism! The misconceptions about women among men is endless!I'm not the kind to say hey! Lookey! Kiran Bedi is the 1st IPS! I feel sickened whenever i see a headline read "So-So becomes the First woman to do s0 and so!" Why is it such a big deal anyway? Who even created the distinction of being "the first woman?"I"m not the kind to say women can to anything men can! Infact i like men to carry my bags for me,give up their places to me in a crowded bus.in fact i hate the word woman! somehow i find it so uncivilized.we should be called ladies!
I'm not a feminist! in fact i believe being a feminist is actually a weakness. Has anyone ever hear of a "manist"? Then why should there be feminism?
I'm the kinda girl who would gladly give a man the upper hand in any relationship.Afterall, he is a MAN!
I'm not saying a man should command and a lady should obey, but just that the man must be the leader, but the lady must not be meek and submissive.( Well, i'm the kind that would probably point out hot chicks for her man to check out, so whatdayaknow?)
But when men act in a prejudiced way when it comes to the opposite sex, it irks me to no extent. Most of the guys I meet ,are surprised by the fact that i follow EPL or F1! Why? Is testosterone a necesary criteria for watching sports?Even more are surprised by the fact that i love Rock music! Why?Should a girl not listen t anything other than backstreet boys?My male friends are stumped by the fact that one girl friend of mine is a gadget freak! Why?Don't girls have enough grey matter to be tech savvy? I could go on and on but seeing as i have been totally incoherent throughout the post, i will stop here!
I will say this : Kurt sings in Territorial pissings "never met a wise man;If so it is a woman".. I have to say I respectfully disagree Kurt.. Men are wise.. as long as they realize women are wiser :)! so u see Kurt was a wise man.

I have this friend from school. He's one of my bestest friends ever( although he's the biggest snob on earth). This guy, he's not ur average guy.. He likes classic poems(I can't name one guy i know that has read any poetry apart from the ones in the curriculum). Six years ago we were prescribed the poem "Daffodils" by William Wordsworth he like the poem so much that named his digital self ram_daffodils(email,IM everything). He's brothers getting married this weekend and Ram had his email id printed on the invitation and Voila! he still hadn't changed it! i seriously dunno what to make out of it. All said and done though it made me revisit daffodils in my head and i realised what a wonderful poem it really is.. so good that i'll reproduce it here.. enjoy!

My previous post, a classic example of the "Don't" part. I regret saying the stuff i said.. I saw something i did not like and just because i had a keyboard, fingers and an internet connection I took this blog as a plaform to vent my anger... But in the end i ended up sounding shockingly cavalier.. Yes, i was angry at James Hetfield for saying the stuff he said.. but only because I'm passionate about NIRVANA but what if he had said the same thing about say, eminem? I would have been the first person to laugh and just b/c he commented on Kurt, i went ahead and thrashed his music while in reality i still like their music..One thing i know for sure no one should ever call me a "good sport" :(
Hindsight is a bitch!

Metallica- A band I used to kinda like. "The Day that Never Comes" was a constant fixture on my playlist until about 5 minutes ago until i deleted that and the rest of the Metallica songs right off my phone. No! I do not have bipolar tendencies. There is a perfectly sane reason for my conduct. I don't cuss as a rule but please forgive my languagein this post.Hope i'm at my sarcastic best .

Sometimes conversations can turn into debates which just suck the wind outta u, but other times they may turn into reflections and that kinda stimulate u to no end!
P.S: I feel officially yuck for naming a post after a "boy-zone" song!

My hands shake as i type this post. I listened to the "Le Zenith", live in paris (14/2/1994) version of "Where did you sleep last night" (by Nirvana) around 10.00Pm last night. It's past 3.00 Am now and i still can't sleep. I heard that song alone in the darkness of my room on my headphones and I cried, not just silent tears kind, but all out wailing kind for how long i dunno.. I dunno what brought on the tears but i couldn't stop. When Kurt says "shiver for me" in one bridge i really did shiver, whether for him, i know not! It's 3.00am and i'm nowhere near sleeping as yet. My body is still reacting to that song.. I never knew a song could affect me this profoundly..Something about that song, whether the cello or the gut wrenching way Kurt sings it(he seems almost in tears in the 1st verse..so much raw emotion) went straight to my soul.. I still am crying sporadically and for the first time ever, i'm not ashamed to admit it..
The bottom line is I still haven't obtained closure over the fact that Kurt is gone and i dunno how i'm gonna deal with it...
